5 Kanals of state land including a water body retrieved
*Anti encroachment drive at ghagwal*
District Administration samba under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, samba Rohit Khajuria, KAS, today carried out an anti encroachment drive at village tapyal in Ghagwal and retrieved around 5 Kanals of State land.
The anti encroachment team led by Sub Divisional Magistrate, ghagwal, Ram Kesh Sharma, Tehsildar ghagwal Raman Chalotra, SHO Kuldeep Raj besides other revenue and police officials reached the encroached site and pressed a JCB machine and dismantle the under construction sheds, concrete walls, Shuttering and other RCC pavements constructed.
Giving details on today’s Anti Encroachment drive SDM Ghagwal, Ram Kesh Sharma KAS, informed that on khasra no. 676 having 5 Kanals of state land and a water body was being illegal encroached and a construction work was going on it, clandestinely. However as soon as the reports surfaced at district administration corridors regarding illegal construction, immediate consequent action were ensured after due verification. During the two hour long anti encroachment drive the building constructed were completely razed to ground and FIR has also been registered against the culprits.
District Administration Samba in a series of consecutive anti encroachment drives across the district samba for past one week has retrieved state land measuring 100 Kanals at Birpur triple S plant, 510 Kanals at Arazi, Samba, 9 Kanals at Katli, Samba and in today’s drive 5 Kanals at Tapyal, Ghagwal.
Deputy Commissioner Samba has earlier passed explicit directions towards all the revenue officers in the district to diligently and thoroughly verify their revenue record with the actual on ground reports and in case of any discrepancy immediate communication should be made with office of deputy commissioner for further action.
